The outcome of last night's election made one thing very clear. From our relentless volunteers working hard in their communities, to First Nations leaders, unions, frontline communities, faith groups, other climate organisations, and every other person who has ever taken action: together, we’ve made the climate crisis the biggest issue for people across generations.
We will have a parliament ready to get us much closer to where we need to be - 100% renewable energy powering our world, no more coal and gas, a clear plan to transition fossil fuel communities, and support for those already on the frontlines of extreme heat, bushfires, floods, and sea level rise.
But there's still so much work to be done. We cannot stop here.
Now is the time to hit the ground running, and be relentless in holding our political leaders accountable to our visions for climate justice.
We’re just getting started - and it's going to take all of us.
