Operations & Finance Manager
Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE) | Location: Anywhere across the continent | Pay Level: Starting salary of $85,120.36 (AYCC Level 3.1) pro rata | Start Date: July 2025
We're looking for our next Operations & Finance Manager! We're searching for someone with strong logistical and organisational skills, a sharp eye for detail and a passion for supporting people to help build our movement for climate justice. This role is crucial to increasing the impact and reach of AYCC and you'll play a key part in ensuring we have the systems and processes in place to deliver high quality impact. Your work will support operations across the following areas: financial management, human resources, staff management and processes, governance, compliance and office management.

Monthly Donor Call-Outs Team Member
Casual| Location: Anywhere across the continent | Pay Level: $34.91 per hour (including casual loading)
We're looking for passionate people who are engaging and confident communicators to join our tele-fundraising team! Our callers build strong relationships with our supporters in order to bring them onboard our Champions of Change program, where they can contribute to funding AYCC's amazing campaigns and training through flexible and manageable recurring donations. This includes mostly afternoon and evening work, and would be perfectly suited to dedicated and passionate young people looking to get a head start in fundraising for climate justice.

Board Positions
Board Director (Treasurer)
Volunteer (unpaid) role | Location: Anywhere across the continent | 2-3 hours a fortnight for minimum 3 years.
We're seeking a passionate and experienced accountant to join our voluntary Board as a Director and Treasurer. In addition to possessing an understanding of climate change and a commitment to the role of young people in tackling it, our ideal candidate:
- Is a Qualified Accountant;
- Is or was a Chartered Accountant;
- Has knowledge and experience of Accounting and or Tax compliance relevant to Australian Charities;
- Can be any age (while AYCC is a youth-based organisation and half of our board must be under the age of 35 when appointed, age is not a pre-condition for this role).

Western Sydney AYCC Organiser
Volunteer leader | Location: Western Sydney | 1-2 days per week for 12 months
We’re looking for young people aged 18-30 across so-called Australia to join our volunteer leadership team as AYCC Organisers for 2023. If you’re passionate about climate justice, supporting teams, organising events, rolling out campaigns and building the power of young people then this is the role for you! This is an incredible opportunity to use your existing (or to develop!) leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to make a significant and impactful contribution to the climate movement.
As an AYCC Organiser you’ll build skills in team management, mentorship, community organising, strategic campaigning, communications and get to work alongside hundreds of like-minded, passionate & fun young people. You’ll play a key part in AYCC’s campaign to stop gas expansion and build the youth climate movement.
