Come along to the first Vic Online team meeting for 2022! Our main focus will be discussing our plans for how we can contribute in digital spaces for the upcoming Cover The Night event to help amplify the in-person work many of us are doing on the ground. This event will have closed captions available, as well as slides available, and regular breaks. Group purpose: 

During the pandemic, we have seen just how effective online action can be. While for many, getting back to in-person meetings is the number one goal, we have also seen how online events, groups, and platforms can increase accessibility and enable a greater number of people from all across the state to get involved and connect better with the rest of the movement. So, as the rest of the movement moves back to in person meetings, whether you are living in a rural area, have accessibility needs that rule out regular in-person meetings, or simply just prefer online meetings for fitting in with your schedule and to reduce travel time - this group will continue to provide an online space to suit your needs.
