Get excited, because Townsville AYCC is finally able to have a face to face meeting!!

Restrictions are easing and it's time hang out together - socially distanced, of course.

With the Queensland election coming up in October there's so much we can do, join us to make plans for how we're taking action on climate justice for the rest of 2020.

A few important things considering coronavirus restrictions, and ensuring that we're safe:

• This event will be following COVIDSafe practices and local restrictions, making sure everyone can stay 1.5 meters apart, with hand sanitiser provided
• We encourage you to take precautions to look after your own health and others - by wearing a face mask if possible, maintaining social distancing when traveling to the event, and following the instructions of organisers
• Please do not attend this event if you are feeling unwell, or if you have been experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, are awaiting test results or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
• Consider carefully before attending an AYCC event if you are in one of the groups that are most at risk from a COVID infection. This includes older people, people with weakened immune systems, and people with diagnosed, underlying medical conditions
• Bring your own food or snacks & don't share food with others
• This meeting is also going to be run online via zoom so it's accessible to everyone - RSVP for the link :)
