The government just announced its 2035 emission reduction target 62-70% - a weak target that is too little, too late.

Labor is bed in with the fossil fuel industry
, with the approval of over 28 new coal and gas projects in their first term, the approval the Woodside North-West Gas Shelf extension, one of the most polluting gas projects in the southern hemisphere, and now the announcement of a weak 2035 target that fails to meet our Paris Climate commitments.

The recently released
National Climate Risk Assessment paints a clear picture: young people, First Nations people, Pacific Islanders and those on the frontlines of the climate crisis cannot afford Labor’s continued inaction and support for the fossil fuel industry.
