Join us for a training and climate conversations event at Ryde Markets for the upcoming election on 3rd May, and we need you there!
What: Training and climate conversations event
Date: Sunday 13th April
When: 11am-1pm
Where: Ryde Markets Anderson Park and Ryde Wharf, Corner of Belmore St and Rothsay Ave, Meadowbank, 2114
We'll be running a quick training on how to have effective conversations about climate justice and how you can engage with voters to vote for the climate! We need you to help us have as many climate conversations as possible and prove that young people have a voice worth listening to. The upcoming election on May 3 will be crucial for deciding future climate legislation that could potentially have catastrophic consequences and jeopardise our future as young people. On one hand, we have the Albanese government who has approved over 28 coal and gas power plants, while over on the other side, Dutton's blatant climate denial, endorsement of gas and use of nuclear as a distraction. From the last federal budget, climate change is already costing us. We have 1 more month to engage with the community in marginal seats like Bennelong to shift hearts and minds.
Will you join us?
