The Queensland election is right around the corner. This is our opportunity to make sure our government commits to a #CleanRecovery for all of us - so that post-election the powerful, youth-led movement we’ve built can hold our new government to account!

The Central Impact team are getting together on zoom at 6pm on Thursday 8th October to plan our next centralised and online action!

We’re putting pressure on specific targets in our local area to make sure that no matter which party wins the election they are committed to investing in publicly owned renewables and not funding new fossil fuel projects.  If you don't have a local group or it's just starting, or you're super keen to be part of online centralised actions, come along and help us pull off some sick tactics.

During an election period, politicians are feeling the heat from the public and is a strategic opportunity to get commitments for climate justice.  Our action needs to be colourful and media-worthy so that politicians feel the public pressure to commit to investing in a Clean Recover for Queensland. We’d love for you to come along to plan it - we need all hands on deck!
