Welcome to the POC Climate Network's April 2024 monthly meeting! We're gathering virtually from all across this vast continent to explore our community, and what it means to be apart of it. 

This month's topic is an introduction into understanding mis- and dis-information in communities. Our workshop will be run by Shae, the Acting National Director of Democracy in Colour. Shae is a digital campaigner and community organiser from South Africa, and has worked professionally in progressive campaigning in both Australia and Ireland. They have achieved impact across a range of campaigns including Covid-19 health response, online privacy, maternity leave provisions and education reform. 

This is part of the POCCN 'learn-in' series of unpacking ours and our family's experiences of colonisation and how climate change and migration has shaped our lives and where we come to be now.
