Head to Golden Orb Collective on Sunday, Sept 4th for a relaxing afternoon of painting (and sipping punch - so the event is under 18 friendly). All people of all ages are welcome!
This Paint & Punch is a fundraiser organised by volunteers at Australian Youth Climate Coalition, to raise money for scholarships to attend Power Shift! What is Power Shift, you ask? Power Shift, organised by AYCC, is a 3-day, high-energy, youth climate summit bringing together hundreds of young people to build relationships and learn vital skills to take action for climate justice. It's the first time this summit has happened in years and past participants have described it as a life-changing event. That's why we want to fund as many scholarships as possible - so that FNQ young people can have that same opportunity! Visit powershift.net.au for more info on the event.
Tickets for this fundraiser cost $30 - please RSVP your attendance so we can prep enough art supplies and punch. You can pay for your ticket at the door on the day. We'll supply paint, canvas, punch & the painting tutorial, but feel free to bring your own art supplies, water and snacks.
