Join us on Thursday 11 March for our 🐝 Wall of Hope Working Bee! 

This Working Bee is split into 2 hours:

⏰ HOUR ONE: Never heard of a "Wall of Hope" but love the idea of building hope for the future in your community in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and climate crisis while sending the government a strong message that we don't want them to spend billions of dollars on gas? Great! This hour is for you!

⏰ HOUR TWO: You came to a previous call and know what a Wall of Hope action is, maybe you've started planning and organising your action! But you want to troubleshoot, practice some meaningful convos about gas and make sure you're got all your bases covered - this hour is for you! 

Right now the Government is planning to give billions of public dollars to the climate wrecking gas industry. We've got a huge opportunity to stop this in its tracks and the next few months are critical. 

There are SO MANY WAYS the government could spend public money to help us recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, tackle the climate crisis and build a safe and equitable future where everyone can thrive. 

We know we need to build and show public opposition to the government's cooked plans to cook our climate and future 🍳So that's why we're running Wall of Hope actions across the country! These actions are visual and interactive conversation starters as a way to raise awareness and build public opposition whilst getting to know your community through powerful conversations. This is about building hope for what’s possible, what could our communities look like if the government funded our future instead of the gas industry?

Come along to this Working Bee 🐝 to get your plans for your local Wall of Hope action off the ground. In HOUR ONE we'll cover a quick refresher on the gas campaign vision and this action before diving into everything you need to run a successful and impactful Wall of Hope action. In HOUR TWO we’ll have time to troubleshoot and answer any questions as well as practice having meaningful conversations about gas.
