There’ll be food, music and a powerful documentary on plastic pollution in Australia, followed by a Q&A with young ocean leader and filmmaker Kal Glanznig, alongside other young environmental leaders who are proving that young people can start where they are and make a powerful difference, without needing decades of experience to have an incredible impact!
You’ll also have the chance to explore our youth environmental opportunities hub, with represenatatives from student societies, climate groups, researchers and community organisations sharing ways you can get involved.
We’ll be exploring plastic waste in Australia — but this isn’t just about the problem. It’s about hope, action, community, and what young people can do when we come together.
Come along to meet great people, hear inspiring stories, discover local opportunities, and leave feeling more connected, energised and excited to do something! 💙🌊🌏"
Note: You do not have to be a UNSW student to attend!
