Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is a key decision maker for the Federal budget and so we're making sure he knows we want public money for public good! Not climate wrecking gas and a fried planet 🍳!

The gas industry is asking for BILLIONS of dollars in public money 🤑 for expansion and pipelines. So from Hobart to Adelaide to Canberra to the the Gold Coast and online we've been busy asking our communities - how should the government spend public money?

Free university education! Indigenous-led land regeneration! Renewable energy investment! Public housing! Training and new jobs for fossil fuel industry workers! Public transport! Mental health support! Youth centres!

Right now is a critical moment for the government to use public money to help us recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, tackle the climate crisis and build a safe and equitable future where everyone can thrive.

We're going to take our message of hope for an alternative future - where gas is a thing of the past - to Frydenberg's digital door through some seriously fun social media jamming 🍓

Join us to flood Frydo's social media pages (we'll be tagging our local MPs too) and meet young people like you from across the country who are taking action! Together we can send a loud and clear message to the Government that we will stand up to the government's cooked plans to cook our climate and future!

Come join us: 5.00pm NSW/ACT/VIC/TAS | 4:30pm SA | 4pm NT | 3.30pm WA

This event will take place on zoom, RSVP for the zoom link and it will be sent to you via email and text.

See you then!
