Are you ready to be part of a team that’s empowering huge numbers of young people across the continent?
Come along to our Zoom information night on Monday the 2nd of March to learn more about the AYCC Switched on Schools Team and the many different ways you can get involved!
As world leaders are continually failing to do what’s necessary to secure a fair and safe future for all, high school students have taken up the fight and led huge movements across the globe. There’s never been a more important time to work with high school students and help them realise their power!
The AYCC Switched on Schools Program is dedicated to empowering high school students to take action for climate justice. In 2020, the Switched on Schools Team delivered training programs that reached hundreds of high school students and helped them develop the skills they need to lead climate action. In the past, we’ve organised massive climate justice summits for schools, run thousands of in-school workshops across the country, and supported students in transitioning their schools to renewable energy.
We’re looking for young people (ages 12-30) who are passionate about climate justice to be part of our team in 2021. No matter what your skills are, how long you’ve been part of the movement, or whether you’re in high school or school is years behind you, there’s a place for you in our team!
Keen to get involved, but can't make it to the info night? No worries! Send an email to our Switched on Schools Program Manager - Finlay Nolan - at [email protected] to express your interest and we'll be in touch.
This info session will take place over Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out via text and email on the day of the event. Please ensure you have RSVP'd by filling out the details on the right or you will not receive the Zoom link.
