The Queensland election is right around the corner and it's our opportunity to make sure our government commits to a #CleanRecovery for all of us - so that post-election the powerful, youth-led movement we’ve built can hold our new government to account! The LNP has not committed to investing in publicly owned renewables to help Queensland transition to 100% clean energy by 2030, but it's time!

We need all MPs in power to be investing in a future for all of us.

We will be outside the Prepolling booth at Fradgley Hall Community Centre on Park Avenue in Burleigh Heads letting the LNP know that we aren't going to let them get away with investing public money in fossil fuels. We need to make sure that no matter which party wins the election they are committed to investing in publicly owned renewables and not funding new fossil fuel projects.
