Power Shift Info Night - Brisbane/Meanjin

Interested to come along to AYCC's Power Shift climate summit, but haven't got your tickets yet? This is the event for you!

Power Shift will be the BIGGEST youth climate movement event in over five years - and it's happening right here in Brisbane! Power Shift is a 3-day, high-energy, youth climate summit bringing together hundreds of young people to build relationships and learn vital skills to take action for climate justice.

We know it can be a big commitment to come along to a 3-day summit - that's why we're hosting this information session so you can get all the details you need before you grab your ticket.

During the info night, you'll get:

• An introduction to the AYCC, what we're fighting for and what it's like to volunteer as part of our movement
• A taster of what you'll get to do and learn at Power Shift this September
• All your questions about Power Shift answered: the dates, cost, location and more
• The chance to connect with likeminded young people from across south east Queensland
• Information on how you can help make Power Shift huge by getting your friends involved

If you needed even more reasons to be there, we'll have some pizzas, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available for free.

Accessibility: Lift access and accessible bathrooms available. We will provide verbal description of any visual content.

Catering: Gluten free and vegan food options will be available. This is an alcohol and drug free event.

Covid safety: The venue size will allow for physical distancing, wearing a mask is strongly encouraged.
