Dirty gas fracking will create long-term damage to our community’s environment, water and the climate. Young people want to see a clean, bright future that we, and the Territory, can thrive in.
Climate change is impacting the Territory here and now and we know that dangerous gas fracking will only make it worse. Young people don’t want fracking to cost us our future.
This election, we’re calling on candidates to:
- Commit to spending taxpayer dollars on the projects that build our community in the long-term: that means no public money taxpayer dollars for dirty gas fracking or associated infrastructure;
- Prioritise a safe climate by committing to 100% renewable energy by 2030; and
- Listen to communities to deliver affordable clean energy for all.
Territorians know that the future is what we make it: we need future-proof jobs today and politicians who will fight for our community.
