Gas is a fossil fuel our climate and communities can’t afford. In the lead-up to the Federal budget 🤑 we're holding actions 📣 across the country to call on the Government to use public money for our communities ✅ not climate wrecking gas ❌.
Join us and take action in your local community!

Our Government has already given MILLIONS of public dollars to the gas industry in the past 12 months alone! And they are planning on giving potentially BILLIONS more for gas expansion in the next year. This is all happening under the guise of helping Australians recover from the pandemic but we know that gas expansion is not going to help the economy or our communities.

It’s high time for a more classy and less gassy approach to the climate crisis that ensures justice for our communities! We're joining forces with other grassroots movements from 350.org, Lock the Gate, Knitting Nanas and GetUp! to make sure politicians hear us loud and clear when we say - FUND OUR FUTURE, NOT GAS!

With covid restrictions easing across most of the country (fingers crossed Brisbane) - we’re going to hit the streets with bold actions across the country, whether that's outside Treasurer Josh Frydenberg office in Melbourne or outside your local cafe.

Join us on Monday 12 of April at 6:30PM QLD/NSW/ACT/VIC/TAS/QLD| 6.00PM SA/NT | 4PM WA to find out how you can be part of making this National Week of Action a huge success in our fight for climate justice.

There are so many ways to take action and a role for everyone to play, whether you're brand new to activism or you've been part of the climate justice movement for years.

We'll talk through the vision for this week and how we can make it come to life. We'll cover all the resources and guides so you can take action in your local community and we'll make sure everyone is set up to stay connected so we can workshop plans, troubleshoot issues and communicate with each other.

The budget is just around the corner on May 11 so right now is a critical time to counter the pressure from the gas lobby to make sure fossil fuels are too politically risky for the government to fund.

I'm part of this movement because I believe in the power of collective action! When we take action together we can shift the politics, change the story and win justice for our communities. Thank you for being part of it!

See you then!
