Right now, the government is deciding how to spend billions in public money to help with the Covid-19 crisis. It's a critical opportunity for them to fund our future, by creating jobs that will Care for Country, fast-track solutions to climate change, and transition Australia to renewable energy.
Instead, secret plans have revealed that the Federal Government is planning to give billions to their mates in the dirty gas industry. Gas is a dangerous fossil fuel that will turbocharge the climate crisis. Even worse, many destructive gas projects threaten First Nations lands.
There's still time to stop the government's dirty gas plans. But we need to show them that Australians everywhere want them to #FundOurFutureNotGas!
