Join us to hear from School Strike for Climate, Tomorrow Movement and AYCC about how you can fight for your future this election.
The Federal Election has just been announced. We know our generation is resilient, kind, and fighting for a future where all of us can thrive, but right now, young people are getting screwed. From the rising costs of living and education, to insecure work and the impacts of climate change, our future feels uncertain. Whether it’s failing to act on climate change or their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, over the last four years the Morrison government has shown us where their loyalties lie: putting the profits of big polluters ahead of a safe future for all of us.
Whoever wins the next election will make critical decisions about our future. If we want to be heard in politics, we have to show up and demand that all parties do better on the issues we care about. There are enough young people in every electorate to determine which party they swing to! When we work together we’re a force to be reckoned with, and young people can have a huge impact!
This federal election thousands of young people are stepping up together to fight for our future - will you join us?
On the call we’ll talk about how young people can make a difference this election. We’ll share some tips on encouraging your friends to enrol to vote and you’ll get a chance to talk about some big plans to make our political representatives stand up for us and our future. (including guest speakers from Run4It)
