To meet our big picture goals of 100% renewable energy and a phase out of fossil fuel extraction with no communities left behind, we know we need to take a holistic approach to climate solutions with bravery and ambition. In the strategic plan development, we identified one way to achieve this ambitious vision could be through a Clean Jobs Guarantee. We committed to scoping this campaign and developing a pathway to winning. 

Over the past 6 months we have taken a deep dive into research and policy, met with unions and other friends in the movement, spoken to our ally MPs in parliament, and worked with the Organisers in Western Sydney and Regional North Queensland. We are suggesting a pivot from a Clean Jobs Guarantee campaign to a Climate Solutions framework that will still include secure jobs as a key solution.

On Monday July 19 we're talking through this shift and adjustment in our campaigns focus. Together we'll go through the work and thinking that has led to this shift and discuss what it means for our next steps fighting for justice centred climate solutions.
