Expose the Government's support for coal and gas

The Albanese Government hosted a global nature “positive” summit last week, and tried to hide the fact that they just approved extensions to three polluting coal mines in NSW and still haven't stopped fracking in the NT.

As leaders from around the world entered the summit, young people were out the front reminding them that real climate action means no new coal and gas. But we need to up the ante. We can't let the Government talk up its green credentials while it is approving fossil fuel projects that will cause destruction of land, waterways and habitat — and accelerate dangerous climate change.

That's why we have a plan to put the Government's track record of propping up coal and gas projects in the spotlight, with a cheeky tactic that's sure to get media attention. We want to jump on the hype about Charli xcx’s remix album and the Laneway Festival lineup, with a brat-style billboard in the Environment Minister's electorate that calls for an end to fracking in the NT.

Will you chip in to fund a cheeky brat-style billboard that will expose the Government’s support of dangerous fossil fuel projects?
