Australians are already living through the impacts of catastrophic climate change, like floods, heatwaves, drought, and devastating bushfires.
But Scott Morrison's Government is still planning to spend millions of public dollars on gas in the next Federal budget- a dangerous fossil fuel that will literally accelerate climate change.
We're ready for renewables: Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg should invest our public money in the renewable solution, not climate pollution.
Will you sign the open letter to send them a strong message?

Dear Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg,
Australians are already feeling the dangerous impacts of climate change.
I’m concerned that the Government will exacerbate the climate crisis if it invests millions of public dollars into a “gas-led recovery”.
Gas is an outdated fossil fuel: investing in gas means Australia will get left behind while the rest of the world thrives with renewables.
Our public money should be spent creating secure jobs that tackle the climate crisis: like big renewable energy projects!
The climate crisis will definitely get worse if the Government proceeds with a gas-led recovery and it’s Australian communities who will pay the price - in climate impacts and wasted public money.
We’re ready for renewables!
Yours sincerely,
