$2 Billion for Renewables in Queensland NOW!

Dear Queensland State Government,

We call on you to honour your commitment to invest $2 billion across four years into renewable energy and clean jobs across Queensland.

We recognise the unprecedented scale of the investment and are thrilled to see ambitious climate commitments.

However, with only half of the commitment locked in to budget forecasts, we're asking you to prioritise the full amount urgently. We need climate action now.

The climate crisis is already affecting communities right across Queensland. The devastating floods, droughts and bushfires of recent years have shown this - and reiterated why climate action must be bold, immediate and support frontlines communities.

We are running out of time to act and prevent the worst impacts of the climate crisis.

We are asking you to honour your commitment of $2 billion for renewable energy, and make the bigger, bolder commitments we need to transition to a clean, just future.
