Volunteer Positions

For the love of the Reef volunteers

We are looking for a volunteer team to supersize our national peer-to-peer fundraising campaign For the love of the Reef which asks people to go without something they love this October so together, we can stop Adani’s coal mine for good. 

Do you want to take down the fossil fuel industry and be a part of a generation wide movement that is solving the climate crisis? Do you think the Adani coal mine is a dumb idea? Awesome, we’re looking for people who are passionate about the climate and want build on their communications and interpersonal skills, be involved in the strategy and implementation of a major national fundraising campaign and work with other young people to pull off For the love of our Reef this year.

Please send us a short resume (1 page) and cover letter (1 page) telling us why you think the Adani coal mine is a dumb idea and why you want to work with us on the For the love of the Reef campaign to David Jeffery, Business Development Coordinator (david@aycc.org.au or 0410 405 733). Applications are open until Friday August 18th.

Victorian State Leaders x 3

The AYCC is currently looking for two to three outstanding individuals to lead the AYCC Victoria branch and local action groups for 2017, alongside our current Co- State Coordinator Ilana Cherny. This is an incredible opportunity to build AYCC Victoria to powerfully implement strategic grassroots campaigns at a crucial time for the climate.  This is an opportunity to use your existing leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills to make a significant and lasting contribution to the climate movement. In this position you will build skills in management, community organising, strategy, campaigning and much more.  This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and exciting leadership team that is building a generation-wide movement to solve the climate crisis.
