Digital Campaigner

The Digital Campaigner at the AYCC will be an internet-savvy, campaign-loving young person who is passionate about solving the climate crisis. You’ll develop fresh content for social media, come up with creative action concepts to roll out through our grassroots network across the country, write about climate change and campaigns in a way that is easy to understand, manage our database of supporters, and be a crucial part of the campaigns and communications teams.

Volunteer Positions

Victorian State Leaders x 3

The AYCC is currently looking for two to three outstanding individuals to lead the AYCC Victoria branch and local action groups for 2017, alongside our current Co- State Coordinator Ilana Cherny. This is an incredible opportunity to build AYCC Victoria to powerfully implement strategic grassroots campaigns at a crucial time for the climate.  This is an opportunity to use your existing leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills to make a significant and lasting contribution to the climate movement. In this position you will build skills in management, community organising, strategy, campaigning and much more.  This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and exciting leadership team that is building a generation-wide movement to solve the climate crisis. SA GRASSROOTS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a bright young person to coordinate our grassroots network of Action Groups in SA. Action Groups roll out AYCC campaigns and support young people to take action in their community. This is a core leadership role, integral to building a movement of young people for climate justice. See the full position description here.

SA SCHOOLS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a State Schools Coordinator who will manage the Schools Team in South Australia to roll out the Switched on Schools program. With National and State assistance they will be expected to support the team and schools-­based groups, implement the schools program, help organise a Schools Summit and contribute to the strategic direction of AYCC SA. See the full position description here.

We’re looking for a new legal lead to join the Board team!
