Repower our Schools: Sydney Action

Dangerous climate change is happening now, but we have the solutions to build a cleaner, safer and better future for all Australians, powered by 100% renewable energy.✅✅✅
Young people are taking matters into their own hands by repowering our schools ☀️☀️☀️- because we know in order to tackle climate change, we have to make the transition to clean energy, powered by the wind & sun.
As young people, we are impacted by the decisions being made right now by our leaders. We want a future that is fair, just and sustainable, and we need to build power in our communities to demonstrate to decision-makers the change that we want to see.
That's why we're gathering outside NSW Parliament (on Macquarie St) to call on Education Minister Rob Stokes & the NSW government to Repower all schools in NSW.
Join us as we launch & deliver the 'Solar Schools' report 📘, deliver 100s of suns with handwritten ✍️ messages from high school students to Minister Stokes and, to hear firsthand from high school students leading campaigns in their school communities. 👫👬👭
Please note: this action will be lead by young people, with their work at the forefront - but we welcome people from all across the community to join us, as a NSW powered by 100% renewable energy, is a cleaner, fairer, safer future for us all.
