Picnic in the Park - Student Climate Action Network

***SCAN is the student climate action network, a network for high school students fighting for climate justice with the AYCC - please note this event is just for them***

Join high school students from across Sydney & surrounds for our SCAN event of the month - a picnic in the park!

From 12pm - 1:30 pm we'll hang out in the park with yummy picnic food, picnic rugs & games like frisbee. We'll then split into small groups with schools mentors to head out into different parts of Sydney city (near central) to have conversations in the community about Repower our schools and collect responses to the Repower Community Survey.

We'll show you how to have a great conversation with people in your community, how to approach people to do the survey and give you the chance to complete it yourself so you have the confidence and skills to take the survey back to your school and community to collect more responses there.

Exact location: we'll meet at the southern end of the park, under the big trees near the corner of Cleveland and Chalmers st.

Bring: friends, water bottle, picnic rug (if you have one), and snacks if you want!

We can't wait to see you!
