Geelong: Art Can Change the Climate

AYCC Geelong and Analogue Academy invite you to participate in a group exhibition which explores the issue of Climate Change, and the role of young people in its solution.

No matter how you choose to creatively interpret the issue of Climate Change, whether it be purely environmental, social, cultural or political, this show aims to bring like-minded people together in a creative space where passionate discussions are encouraged and, the hope and will for change a must. Art, in all its forms, has constantly proven to be a vehicle of change, catalysing discussion and action whilst simultaneously building a community. Something AYCC Geelong, a fledgling group, is also aiming to do.

Local musicians Pollyman, Hassall & Wardlaw Brown will also be a part of this event. So come along to learn more about this local group and soak up the talent of this region!

So, if you would like to participate in this exhibition or find out further information, please contact Bel Sheridan-Moore on and make sure your pieces are done and submitted by the 20th of June.

Please note that this event is all ages, however, because it is hosted in a licensed venue everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Free event, however any donation big or small towards the start up of this new group would be greatly appreciated.

This event will be taking place on stolen Wadawurrung land. A treaty has never been signed and sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land - and we'd like to pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
