Young people from all different walks of life are on the front lines of climate change impacts and the harm caused by fossil fuel extraction. There’s nothing more powerful than personal stories to build a movement and create change.
AYCC wants to support young people with lived experience of the impacts of climate change or fossil fuel extraction to access the training, coaching and connections to tell your story in the media.
We’re running a training program over November - December 2018 to give you the confidence and skills to share your story. After that, we’ll connect you with journalists in your area to make sure the world is hearing voices for climate justice throughout summer.
Everything will be done online and timing is flexible to make sure anyone, anywhere can be involved.
And if you’re keen, we’ll cap off a summer of storytelling with a speaking tour in March, connecting our communities together and putting a megaphone behind your messages.
To get involved, fill in our quick form and we’ll give you a call to have a chat and answer your questions!
