Climate Justice & Bushfires - How you can make a difference
The bushfire crisis has taken our loved ones, thousands of our homes and our livelihoods. No words can capture how this feels. And now we’re left asking – what can we do?
The scary truth is we know fires like these will only get worse and more frequent, unless we start taking serious action to tackle climate change.
That’s why the most impactful thing our movement can do right now is join together to fight for Climate Justice.
But without knowing where to start, it can be overwhelming.
That’s where this forum comes in.
This forum is for you if you’ve ever wondered how you can take real, meaningful action to make sure we live in a world where we’ve got a safe environment, no matter what our background is.
You’ll learn about what climate justice is, how to get involved in climate justice campaigns and have the chance to get involved on the spot.
There’s a long road ahead to protect communities on the frontlines, and to prevent fires like these from becoming the new normal.
But if there’s one thing these past months have shown – it's that there is nothing our communities cannot overcome when we come together.
Here’s to never backing down ✊
