AYCC NT-wide 2020 Launch Meeting

This summer has seen extremely scary climate impacts, particularly here in the NT, and we've still got months to go. While heatwaves, cyclones and drought continue to rip through communities and big fossil fuel companies are still profiting from fuelling the climate crisis, we know there is lots of work to do to build our movement and bring our communities along with us.
Join us at our very first AYCC NT wide call to launch our big, bold and ambitious plans for climate justice in 2020!! Learn about our campaigns to ban fracking in the NT by stopping Origin and leading an NT election campaign + and how you can be part of the biggest youth-led movement for climate justice, and then join with local young people in your community to make a plan in your area :) #dontfracktheNT
What: This is our first of many monthly NT-wide video calls for local groups + individuals across the Northern Territory to call into, connect with other young people, and make plans for how we'll fight for climate justice in 2020. Join us to build connections, share ideas, and learn how we can all be part of a movement powerful enough to win 😍😍😍
When: 6pm - 6.45pm NT time, Tuesday 3rd March, 2020
Who: Anyone under 30 is welcome! Whether you’re just learning about the AYCC for the first time, or ready to go all-in for our climate justice campaigns in 2020 😃
Where: You can join from ANYWHERE in the NT!
🍝 Head along to a local group meeting on the night in your local area to connect with other young people (under 30) who want to smash the fossil fuel industry in 2020 + call in to our state-wide video call to make plans across the state. Then make some kick-ass plans for climate justice with young people from your community!!
RSVP to the call below, and we'll get in touch if there's an event happening in your area - we currently have local groups in Darwin, Alice Springs and Palmerston :)
Wherever you are in the Territory, this event will be happening on stolen land. We acknowledge that this always was and always will be Aboriginal land, and that sovereignty has never been ceded. We acknowledge and pay tribute to the strength, resilience and resistance of Aboriginal people and communities right across the country - who are fighting to protect country from the impacts of climate change and the fossil fuel industry.
