Townsville - Student Climate Action Network Hangs

Are you a high school student interested in solving climate change and protecting the Great Barrier Reef?

This meeting, we'll be getting to know students from different schools taking action - and sharing ideas for how to raise funds to protect the Reef from global warming, and get other peeps from your school involved!

The Student Climate Action Network (SCAN) is a group dedicated to assisting high school students take meaningful action on climate change in their school communities. For this event - we will be discussing the #ForTheLoveOfTheReef challenge (fortheloveof.org.au) and how to raise those last important funds, and coming up with an action plan to get other students involved in climate action with the AYCC Townsville team!

So if you are a high school student passionate about fixing the climate crisis, educating others on climate change or just looking to connect with other like-minded people over 🍕🍟snacks🍟🍕, come along to our SCAN Hangs!

Can't wait to see you there!
