Sustainability at Stucco - Student Climate Action Network

"Stucco is the first multi-unit residence to achieve a unified solar panel and battery network in Australia. They are proud to join the solar revolution in our transition from dirty coal to renewable power, in light of the impending climate catastrophe." -- Solar @ Stucco

High School students will have the great opportunity of having a tour, and also be able to attend the General Meeting afterwards, particularly important if you're thinking of being a part of this community of university students eventually. And learn about what it's like to rally a team in order to switch to renewables!

So what will be happening on the day?

Join us at 4:30pm, where we'll have some snacks, social, and games. Bring friends, snacks, tunes and board games along!

We'll then ease into a workshop on how to build a team---tackling issues like recruitment and keeping members engaged. It'll also be a great place to troubleshoot any other issues you're facing with being a part of a team.

Finally, we'll have a tour around Stucco! Where we'll see the solar batteries, and hear a bit of the housing's history and how it came to be a part of the solar revolution. And you can follow it up with a look into how this community hold their meetings.
