Climate Reality Week
The AYCC unleashed Climate Reality Week to fight back against global warming deniers. We challenged you to get our slogan out to as many people as you could during the week of May 3rd-10th and remind all of Australia “the climate is changing, we can’t escape reality.

The AYCC’s Ongoing Projects
- Switched on Schools - Reaching thousands of young people through inspiring presentations and peer education programs in Switched On Schools
- Advocacy – Speaking out in key climate change forums and representing the youth perspective to decision makers through advocacy
- Youth Climate Leadership Program – A training program providing opportunities for the next generation of climate leaders
- Project Survival Pacific – Supporting the Pacific Island nations in international negotiations, and supporting the development of a Pacific Youth Climate Initiative, empowering youth in the Pacific on climate change issues
- Multifaith Outreach – Engaging new and diverse communities of young people in climate change, such as rural young people and young people of various faiths
- International Youth Climate Network - Developing supportive networks with climate active youth around the world
- Indian Youth Network – Supporting the efforts of Indian youth climate activists
- Your Targets = Our Future campaign
- Green Jobs – Promoting the development of pilot projects preparing young people for the Green Jobs of the future
The AYCC continually develops new exciting projects that are based on:
- The active involvement of our member organisations as implementing partners
- The meaningful involvement of youth, entirely led by young people
- Creativity, professionalism, and amazingly efficient use of resources
