Power Shift Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do those under 18 years of age need parental permission?
Yes. There is a parental/guardian consent form which can be found here. This consent form needs to be sent to the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Level 6, 620 Bourke Street, Melbourne, 3000 by Friday 23rd of July. Those under the age of 18 who have not submitted a parental permission form will not be allowed to to register at the beginning of the conference
2. Who has duty of care for high school groups?
We will have duty of care for all participants under the age of 18 years old during the conference hours. We DO NOT have duty of care for these participants outside of the conference hours. If Duty of Care outside of the conference is an issue, parents and teachers are welcome to attend. Check out our duty of care policy here.
3. Can I register a group?
Yes. Fill in your group leaders details on the registration form then simply select and pay for multiple tickets on the payment page.
4. Do I need to organise my own travel and accomodation?
