Olivia got involved in AYCC in 2013 after seeing climate impacts firsthand on New Zealand's glaciers. In high school, she stood alongside young people in Borneo in campaigning against unsustainable palm oil plantations in their communities with DeforestACTION. Liv then joined the schools team where she organised two schools summits for 100 students and gave engaging presentations across Queensland. After participating in the Pacific Climate Warriors action in Newcastle, she decided to take on the role of State Coordinator in 2015. Currently she is studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology at The University of Queensland. When she's not campaigning, she is escaping to the closest beach or rainforest.
