NSW Student Climate Action Network: Engaging with local MPs

After a HUGE first intro meeting with inspiring high school students, we’re keen to announce our second meeting. This SCAN event will be action-oriented: we’ll be writing letters to our local NSW MPs (members of parliament) based on current campaigns, and discussing how to deliver the letters in person.

Venue TBC. Feel free to message Kalina on 0439 525 461 with any questions.

Are you a high school student passionate about climate action? Want to learn skills, build networks and lead change in your community?

Come along and join the NSW Student Climate Action Network - a group of high school students from all across NSW that come together once a month to learn, troubleshoot and share ideas to take action on climate change! Hear from inspiring speakers, learn tools to build local groups and how you can lead a campaign to repower your school with renewable energy :) Snacks will be provided.
