Seed Campaigns Director (paid, location negotiable)

Seed are looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young person who is passionate about protecting country from the causes and impacts of climate change to lead Seed’s part in the campaign to stop fracking in the NT, and work with our grassroots network to create change.

NSW State Leader(s)

We are looking for 1-2 passionate, skilled & enthusiastic volunteer leaders to join our team to coordinate, manager & grow the NSW state branch of the AYCC from 2018-2019 alongside our current State Leader team. The State Leaders (4-5) will coordinate the AYCC NSW branch including managing volunteers, coordinating projects and campaigns and will be tasked with building and growing the branch to #Stop Adani, Repower our Schools in NSW and get fracking banned in the NT. This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable organising, management and campaigning skills as well as making a meaningful impact on the most important campaigns in the climate movement. VIC Macnamara Volunteer Coordinator

We are currently looking for outstanding individuals to coordinate our Federal election campaign in the Macnamara electorate (previously Melbourne Ports), leading strategies to make climate change the top issue of the next Federal election. This is an incredible opportunity to build AYCC Victoria to powerfully implement strategic grassroots campaigns at a crucial time for the climate. VIC Communications Volunteer: Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative content creator to drive state branch communications in VIC. You will work with a team of volunteers to create and publish a range of content for social media, helping to shift the narrative about climate change and fossil fuels in Australia. Keeping across current climate news and online trends/memes, you will work with the Communications Coordinator to turn our key messages into powerful visuals that help audiences understand the urgency and importance of climate justice and action, celebrate our massive grassroots network and amplify their voices, and inspire and facilitate people joining the AYCC

VIC Communications Volunteer: Videographer

We are looking for a videographer to capture some of AYCC VIC’s peak moments and create engaging online content. You will work with a team of volunteers and touch base with national staff to create and publish a range of content for social media, helping to shift the narrative about climate change, renewables and fossil fuels in Australia. See the full position description here

As a film and video editing whiz, you will attend and film AYCC events and turn these into powerful videos for our Facebook, Instagram and Youtube pages. You will occasionally be called on to contribute to whole organisation projects, such as documentaries.
