Cover the Night (Part 2)

**New Volunteers Welcome - This is a TWO-PART event**

Part 1 (4pm): Join ACF for a screening of Guarding the Galilee about the proposed Carmichael coal mine featuring Michael Caton. The half hour screening will be followed by some informal discussion time where you can pose questions or share your thoughts.

Entry to the event is free and there will be $5 drink specials on offer and pizza, antipasto etc. available for purchase.

Part 2 (6pm onwards): We'll then be heading out to put up some removable posters around Camberwell, letting Josh Frydenberg (the Energy and Environment Minister and local MP) know that handing $1billion to a billionaire like Adani is unacceptable.

The government is thinking of handing $1billion over to build the rail link needed to get coal to the coast of QLD, where it'll be shipped through the Great Barrier Reef. This news comes in the lead up to the budget, where cuts are being made to health and education. It's also a slap-in-the-face given that the government slashes $500million from the Renewable Energy Agency last year.

Come join us for an awesome Sunday afternoon, we're we'll be learning together about the campaign and then actually contributing to #StopAdani!
