G20 Billboard Design Competition

G20 Billboard Design Competition

Your design to capture the hearts and minds of world leaders

*UPDATE* Competition deadline extended to 5pm on 21st of October. Remember to get creative - you don't need to stick exactly to the message - make it your own!

Ever wanted to use your creative skills to change the world? This is your chance.

Submit your design for a billboard in the Brisbane International Airport. As world leaders touch down for the G20 conference, they’ll see the winning billboard in lights and know that young Australians implore them to put climate change on the agenda. Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been intentionally silent on climate change - a dangerous move considering the rest of the world is moving forward to act on the defining issue of our time.

We want the billboard to be eye-catching, easy to read and be based around our message. You can use it exactly or as inspiration for your work:

Dear world leaders,

Our future is at stake, and we will not be ignored.

Climate change is on our agenda, and it must be on yours at the G20.

Yours sincerely,

Young people and future generations

Entries close on October 14 at 5pm, (5pm @ 21st of October) and will be voted on by our AYCC Creative Panel and the good people of Facebook. Your billboard will then by up in Brisbane airport from for 4 weeks in November. The winner will receive a $200 prize!
