The QLD election has been called! We have 26 days to Stop Adani.
The next QLD Govt. has the power to veto taxpayer money from the Turnbull Government's NAIF slush fund to stop Adani's dangerous coal mine. QLD Labor have just ruled it out. Will QLD LNP veto it too?
Join us in Tim Nicholls' own electorate of Clayfield, with hundreds of other concerned constituents, to make sure that all the candidates in Clayfield know that they are supported by their community to take a stand against this Reef wrecking project.
On Saturday the 18th November, join us to speak to Clayfield residents around Windsor, Lutwyche and Wooloowin to get their opinion about how our taxpayer money would be better spent.
WHEN: Saturday 18th November, 1-5pm
WHERE: Brothers Rugby Club, 103 Crosby Road, Brisbane
WHAT: Door-knocking in Clayfield to have thousands of conversations with constituents about stopping Adani.
WHO: Anyone who wants to Stop Adani. If you're new to taking action, training will be provided.
WHY: We're elevating the concerns of the Clayfield electorate to make sure that the next Queensland Government vetoes taxpayer funding to Adani's mine.
See you on Saturday 18th!

Where the Money Goes
We are a grassroots network that is grassroots funded. We are powerful because of the support of thousands of Australians - young and old - who believe in a vision for a better, fairer world powered by 100% renewable energy. Your contribution will support young people to be leaders in the climate movement, to run strategic campaigns to keep fossil fuels in the ground, and empower young people to realise they can make a difference. By making a recurring donation, you're creating stable funding so that young Australians can react at a moment's notice to protect our future from climate change.

The federal government is looking at giving a billion dollars to the dangerous Adani coal mine in Queensland. So we thought we'd ask: What would you rather spend it on?
Renewable energy? Education? Health Care?
Together, we can send a loud message to our government: This dangerous Adani mine is a waste of taxpayer money.
