Code Green: exploring the impact of climate change on human health

Climate change is the biggest global health threat of the 21st century‘ (The Lancet, 2009)
Join an eminent panel of academic and policy experts for a public discussion on the significance of climate change, the challenges it presents to global public health, and what needs to be done to tackle an issue that
threatens the lives and livelihoods of billions of people.

Guest speakers:

  • Dr Alan Finkel AM, Chancellor, Monash University
  • Senator Bob Brown, Leader, The Australian Greens
  • John Thwaites, former Victorian Health Minister, Chair of the Monash Sustainability Initiative
  • Professor Tony McMichael, National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Australian National University
